'It's the Journey not the Destination that is Important'
This weekend we headed up to Crows Nest north of Toowoomba QLD, for a long weekend away. On the way home we took a different way, bypassing Toowoomba. We spotted a sign for Spring Bluff Railway Station and decided to check it out. WELL what a little TREASURE of a spot. A real old fashion rail station, a big coal train rattled through while we were there...really added to the atmosphere. The grounds are lovely with a little waterfall tinkling next to the station, wonderful picnic area and a cafe open on the weekends. They were just getting the gardens ready for the Carnival of Flowers later this year in Toowoomba...it must be truly beautiful when all the flowers are in bloom. I think a return visit later this year will be in order.
...so next time you are out and about take the time to stop and check out a new road you never know what you will find.
Today I am linking up Melody @ The House on the Side of the Hill for Tuesday Treasures so pop over and check out all the other wonderful treasures.

Glad you enjoyed your trip up this way... Spring Bluff is so pretty.. it was quite badly damaged during those bad floods... it's great to see it looking so good again...
