Block Swap

I caught up with Linda a Stitch and Bitch friend today. Linda was also my block swap partner in April I think.
With me being away and other things Linda hadn't had a chance to give me my block till now.

Linda made me this lovely block and added a little panel of owl fabric to the center...she knows I like owls.

Linda also bought me this cute little purse from Vanuatu. Where she has just been on a cruise with her mum.

...and to top it off this lovely card with tiny scissors. Feeling the love :)

I had an email from the lovely Fiona @ bubsrugs to say that there where pics of the dress I had made for Charlotte in the latest Homespun Mag. So I had to race down to the news agent this morning and buy a copy.  Homespun had emailed me asking if they could use the pic for the mag after see them on my blog... very exciting.

Today my holiday pic come from the Ingham area again...this time the Wallaman Fall. The traffic was heavy on the road out to the falls. We had to stop for lots of cattle on the road, some having a sleep and one had to stop for morning tea...but the falls were well worth the traffic jam to get there.
